rule i. I am not my character, my character is not me. Any rp involving my character be it light hearted rps to more in depth stories, do not represent me, my feelings, or anything personal. Please understand and respect the difference. rule ii. I prefer mature themes and ask that those I write with are 21+. That being said if you are under the age of 18 do not engage with me. rule iii. Not available irl and not interested. rule iv. Dæn is a monogamous character and is taken. Since he is a slow burn romantic, I prefer erp/romance to be story driven and come naturally to the characters. i also do not multi-ship my character(s) and ask those i ship with to be of similar mindset. rule v. I prefer Multi-para to novel writing roleplay however I'm flexible to all styles. I don't mind walk-up roleplays, but I do prefer long term writers/stories! I enjoy Adventure, dark themes with comic reliefs, slice of life, or worldbuilding. This is also why I don't go too into depth on his bio or about, I enjoy writing those scenes as they come naturally to the characters.
rule vi. I Will not tolerate Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, Misogyny, or Misandry IC or OOC. I also am not interested in dealing with those who enjoy godmoding. rule vii. any potential stories that involve: Scarring, inflicted injuries in combat, or dynamics (be it family or close bonds) be discussed ooc first. rule viii. Please feel free to discuss anything that comes to mind in regards to boundaries (ooc), plots/preferred themes to avoid (ic). rule ix. I am slow with responses and therefore also put no pressure on when others should reply to roleplays, after all we all have lives outside of this. Roleplay over discord is preffered due to timezones, however I also reply slow to messages in general so i apologise in advance and please communicate with me if you need reassurence, it does not indicate im uninterested/bored in the roleplay/conversation! rule x. I'm all for respecting headcanons and some lorebending and ask that my own is respected as well.

about A quiet individual at start who, when he is not bound by his duties as the WoL, travels across Eorzea as a mercenary or blacksmith. He excels in physical combat as well as with a claymore and enjoys experiencing the world with its simple pleasures. Upon further warming up to him one would also find a simplistic charm and a light hearted humour; despite his intimidating appearence he's a rather warm-hearted character.

biography Dæn was born in the kagon tribe of the azim steppe but abandoned that life style early at the age of eight when he met a traveller, Hamon, who became his inspiration to be a pugilist. Hamon became a mentor to the young xaela, who not only admired him, but also saw him as a father figure (He wouldn't dare tell him that though). Over the years of his adolescence Dæns' intensive training and lack of care for proper time to heal inbetween, gave him horrible scarring on his hands as well as losing some feeling in them which later on became a small insecurity that he often keeps bandaged or out of ones view. as the years went on he'd find himself frequently travelling to better his skills and experiences, often finding himself exposed to new cultures, cities, towns, and environments all of which held its own wonders and challenges. being the adult he is now, he lost most of his fiery temper, his rough speech and became a more calmer, light-hearted individual whose road lead to that of the brotherhood of monks before his occupation as the Wol.
